The Village is a mixed-use, transit-oriented redevelopment project within the City of Oxnard at the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 1. Approved by the City of Oxnard in February 2009, the project transforms a blighted 64-acre site which currently contains a 1950’s era motel, mobile home park, and commercial and light manufacturing uses into a high density, transit-oriented village. The Village project mixes approximately 1,500 stacked flats, row houses, live-work units, and luxury high rise condominiums within walking distance of “main street” retail district with proposed shops and restaurants. An on site multi-modal transit facility will form the central hub of the City’s first multi-modal transit district designed to significantly reduce traffic in the area. The Daly Group is responsible for preparation of the project’s Specific Plan, management of all architectural and engineering consultants, community outreach, overall entitlement strategy development and implementation and property management. The project will likely commence construction in late 2010.
