Santa Clara Courts / 2016 / 24 apt. / Ventura, CA / 

One of Dalygroup’s first built projects, Santa Clara Courts is a half sunk podium building. This half sunk podium causes the building to be lifted up 9 feet which allows for a beautiful entry that steps up into a private courtyard. In the courtyard is a large fireplace feature, planters, and a series of stairways leading to units. The courtyard is open and airy, and the units all share a communal feeling of being a part of a neighborhood. Steps away from Downtown Ventura, this project allows residents a sense of provacy and community away from the noise of the Downtown while still being walkable to the city center
